About The Position
The Electrical Foreman is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising electrical, plumbing, and building construction and maintenance projects and activities related to facilities and grounds. This role involves assisting the supervisor with various tasks, including interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating staff, as well as scheduling and assigning tasks to skilled trade workers. The foreman will provide instruction and training to staff, assist with planning and scheduling maintenance for county buildings, and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints. The position also requires reviewing work orders, preparing estimates, addressing public inquiries, and maintaining preventive maintenance schedules.
