Eaton's Critical Power Solutions Division is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and related products. This role involves daily travel to customer sites in the Northern Colorado and Greater Denver areas, with a focus on delivering high-quality technical support and solutions to meet customer energy management needs.

  • Perform on-site emergency repairs and start-up services for UPS systems and power distribution units.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance in an on-call environment with regional responsibility.
  • Provide technical support and serve as a technical advisor for operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment.
  • Deliver mission-critical solutions to customers' energy management requirements.
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in Power Systems, Battery technologies, and/or Electronics, or Military experience.
  • Valid and unrestricted State Driver's license.
  • Ability to undergo and pass customer entrance requirements, including background checks and drug screenings.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • Associate's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of three years of experience working with Power Systems, Battery Technologies, and/or Electronics.
  • Ability to read schematic drawings and knowledge of troubleshooting, test, and repair techniques.
  • Electrical Technology Certificate from an accredited institution.
