About The Position

The Electrical Engineering position is a contract role based in Alvarado, TX, focused on delivering technical training and educational programs to both internal and external customers. The Technical Instructor will leverage their subject matter expertise to support the instructional design process, ensuring that training content is effective and aligned with the needs of the audience. This role involves assessing course objectives against student performance and adapting training materials as necessary to address performance gaps.

Requirements

• Completion of a high school diploma as a minimum requirement.
• 4+ years of experience relating to product service line operations, including curriculum development or training.
• IPC J-STD certification is ideal.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with soldering and electronics training delivery.
• Ability to work with assembly teams to develop soldering standards and teach improved techniques.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical training and educational programs to internal and external customers.
• Provide subject matter expertise for technical training and professional development curriculum.
• Support the instructional design process, including design/redesign, execution, and success metrics.
• Conduct assessments of course objectives versus student performance.
• Diagnose performance gaps using CPI/EJCS data and incorporate PSL established competencies.
• Assess employee needs and adapt training program materials as needed.
• Ensure training content aligns with the learning style of the audience and addresses performance gaps.
