About The Position

As an Electrical Engineering Technician, you will support development and production aerospace hardware used in spacecraft propulsion and launch vehicles. You will work alongside engineering and production teams to build, inspect, troubleshoot and repair circuit boards, wiring harnesses and all related hardware. How You'll Fulfill Your Mission Assembly & Integration: Assemble electrical and electromechanical aerospace hardware from engineering drawings, work instructions, and schematics Support harness wiring with soldering and basic fabrication tasks Inspect components and assemblies to ensure compliance with quality and configuration requirements PCB Rework & Assembly: Assemble development circuit boards for engineering lab use Perform component removal and replacement Inspect and capture images of components under a microscope Repair damaged copper traces, soldermask and conformal coating Verify compliance with applicable production standards and cleanliness Troubleshooting: Perform basic electrical troubleshooting including continuity checks, voltage measurements and current measurements Document and perform corrective actions as required Verify connector pinouts by referencing simplistic schematics

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on technician experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturing
  • Strong electrical and electromechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience assembling and repairing circuit boards with fine pitch surface mount and through-hole components
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and test procedures
  • Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies and data acquisition systems
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to ~35 lbs
  • Ability to work with hardware in laboratory, cleanroom or production environments
  • High school diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

  • Aerospace production or spacecraft hardware experience
  • Familiarity with cleanroom procedures, FOD control, or contamination control
  • IPC J-STD-001 certification
  • Experience reworking multi-layer PCBs with heavy copper layer
  • Technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred

Responsibilities
