The Surface Based Effector Production is responsible to support the production and development of electrical subsystems used in our Land and Naval based programs. Our subsystems are subject to environments ranging from the frigid, sub-zero vacuum of space to the blistering heat of the desert floor, to the high pressures of the ocean depths. We are seeking entry-level candidates willing to collaborate, innovate, and team with our engineers to generate and utilize today’s cutting-edge technology in production environments that support missile assembly and test. This requisition is for an RTX intern returning for an full-time position in 2026.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
  • Coursework in one or more of the following areas: Radar systems design, system realization, or testing of RF and microwave radar systems. Airborne radar guidance section production or development. RF component design, analysis, fabrication, or troubleshooting. RF laboratory equipment including waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, or network analyzers.
  • This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
  • U.S. Citizen, U.S. Person, or Immigration Status Requirements:
  • Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date

Nice To Haves

  • ABET is the preferred, although not required accreditation standard.
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
  • System integration experience: system integration and development of test procedures for lab and site
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of analog RF components, ADC and DAC performances.
  • Familiarity with industry standard RF circuit design software and PCB layout

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting electronics in a lab or production environment
  • Performing system and circuit level analysis
  • Supporting failure investigations
  • Maintaining and creating documentation
  • Interacting with multi-discipline groups including suppliers
