The EMG HW Platforms Team at Meta Reality Labs is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager with a background and hands-on experience in electrical engineering and complex system design. Your job will be to lead and support a team of engineers incubating research into product-level readiness and helping to ensure robust product integration. You will be responsible for the intake of requirements from researchers, engineers, and product managers; managing program schedules, identify risks and associated mitigation plans; and clearly communicating to program stakeholders. Communication and technical aptitude are critical in this role as you will be the liaison between researchers, mechanical, electrical, and software engineers and you will assist with determining project priorities and feasibility. As an expert in your engineering field, you will be in charge of supervising the EE design and architecture of our custom systems. This is a complex and operationally challenging role that will afford the opportunity to lead the development of technologies that have the potential to change the way humans communicate and interact regardless of distance.
