Are you interested in vehicle electrical systems, wiring architecture, and hands-on troubleshooting? Roush is seeking an Electrical Engineering student to support our Vehicle Engineering team for the summer of 2026 (May-Aug). This internship provides exposure to vehicle electrical system design, CAN communication, diagnostics, harness development, and validation testing. This position is a paid internship located in Allen Park, MI with occasional work in Livonia, MI.

Requirements

Minimum junior standing at a college or university
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
Basic understanding of electrical circuits and electronics fundamentals
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
Proficient in MS Office
Strong desire to learn vehicle electrical systems design, development, and testing as it relates to the automotive industry
Willingness and desire to get hands-on experience
Willing and able to work a 40-hour work week M-F onsite
