Wendel is looking to hire an enthusiastic and highly motivated future Electrical Engineer Intern for the Summer to work directly with our Engineering team in our Williamsville, NY, or Columbus, OH offices. Our internship program provides hands-on practical experience for students while potentially developing the individual to take on a full-time role with Wendel post-graduation. Internship Purpose: Work on real life projects like identification of work scopes, cost estimates, and production of construction documents. Actively work on all stages of project development. Collaborate with Project Managers and Senior Engineers. Assist with the design of electrical systems for buildings including fire alarms, power distribution, light design, building system design hazard analysis / arc flash study / arc flash analysis.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering at an accredited institution.
  • Excellent PC skills. Microsoft Office software experience required.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Ability to work on-site and travel if needed.

Responsibilities
