About The Position

Dewberry is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 to join our Birmingham, AL office. This position performs assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks. Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering required.
• Previous internship experience in electrical engineering is preferred.
• Applicants should have exposure to related electrical engineering design.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT.
• Good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical engineering calculations, reports, construction drawings and specifications to meet project requirements.
