This role is for an Electrical Engineering Intern. This role will be onsite, in Rockford, IL. This role may be eligible for relocation. What You Will Do: You will support the design and development of electronic controls and printed wiring board assemblies used in electric systems for military and commercial aircraft. You will work on design preparation in accordance with applicable specifications, customer requirements and standard work practices; interfaces with various functional groups to coordinate design and engineering documentation releases, development testing, qualification testing, and entry into service. You will collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team to create successful designs. You will learn how to follow appropriate design, safety, and qualification standards in development programs. You will learn to provide documentation of development, analysis, and test data. You will learn processes associated with the various phases of the product development cycle. What You Will Learn: You will learn to and support design and development of electronic controls and printed wiring board assemblies used in electric systems for military and commercial aircraft. You will learn the principles and techniques of electrical/electronic engineering to ensure design preparation is in accordance with applicable specifications, customer requirements and standard work practices; interfaces with various functional groups to coordinate design and engineering documentation releases, development testing, qualification testing, and entry into service. Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
