Crane Aerospace and Electronics has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineering Intern for the Summer of 2026 at our Fort Walton beach, FL location. Job Summary: The Electrical Engineering Intern would have the unique experience of interacting directly with senior level engineers working on products in various stages of their life cycle. The Electrical Engineering Intern will get exposure to research, design, development, testing, and production of high frequency sub-systems that are used in various military applications. Responsibilities and tasks will be tailored to the applicant’s abilities.

Requirements

  • The successful applicant would be enrolled in an electrical engineering degree program or similar, pursuing a Bachelor's degree with a 3.2 GPA or higher.
  • Solid decision-making skills.
  • Interest in Power Electronics.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced electronics environment.
  • Demonstrated problem solving experience and a technical aptitude.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
  • Additionally, as a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Responsibilities

  • Handle projects or some of the work normally performed by an entry-level, professional employee
  • Provide support for assigned department
  • Work with other members of the department to learn how the department functions within the company
  • Work with other employees in different departments to learn how other departments operate within the company
  • Attend seminars and meetings as assigned.
