About The Position

Basic Function Perform a variety of operational, development, and documentation activities in support of electrical hardware for all Brooks Instrument products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Marginal position functions that are not included among the essential duties and responsibilities in this position description are also requirements of this position. Requirements

  • High School Graduate
  • Completed at least 2 years of college with a curriculum focused in Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • A desire to perform documentation activities including technical writing and drawing.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter with a high degree of initiative, creativity, and problem-solving ability.
  • Multi-tasking with a detail orientation and commitment to accountability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, calibrate, and test electromechanical equipment (e.g. assembly, calibration and test fixtures)
  • Conduct tests and analysis for detailed and/or routine engineering assignments.
  • Supports operating and maintenance functions with engineering analysis, troubleshooting, problem identification, problem resolution activities.
  • Participate in Company continuous improvement and quality improvement initiatives.
