Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent, from an ABET recognized program.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

  • Execute a major project that will cover the basics of the engineering lifecycle from requirements capture through detailed design.
  • Learn the basic steps of the Systems Engineering method.
  • Complete projects and tasks within the R&D Engineering project portfolio.
  • Develop and understanding of the Enchanted Rock generators set and microgrids.
  • Understand schematics, wiring diagrams, analyze complex problems to identify root cause and develop innovative solutions under guidance from senior team members.
  • Work across disciplines with mechanical engineers, controls and field personnel as required.
  • Instrumentation, testing, data gathering/analysis, and field support of generator units in the fleet.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding component specifications and design.
  • Attention to safety and its critical importance in the work environment.
  • Other tasks as identified by senior team members.
