We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern (Spring 2026 Semester), who is responsible for performing general electrical engineering and drafting tasks, as well as related tasks described below, and as may be required by the company. This role is ideal for individuals who want to obtain experience and provide support to our construction/electrical utility services and wants to join a dedicated, fast-moving team and who is thorough, precise, and is a true team player.

Requirements

  • Enrollment in BSEE/BSEET accredited four-year full-time program.
  • Possess technical writing ability.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office products.
  • Valid driver’s license required to operate company or personal vehicle for company business.
  • Must be able to present acceptable documents evidencing identity and employment authorizations per the Federal I-9 requirement.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of and/or aptitude in AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, and Visual.
  • Interest in electrical power systems engineering field.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in design of electrical power distribution, lighting, and related systems for commercial, industrial, and substation projects.
  • Assist in performing electrical engineering calculations and studies.
  • Coordinate with other engineering, architectural, and construction disciplines.
  • Coordinate with electric utility companies.
  • Perform field observations and survey activities.
  • Perform Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) work.
  • Interact with customers to investigate and provide recommendations regarding power quality issues.
  • Copy, scan, and assemble print jobs.
  • Assist in job takeoff and estimating.
