Department Overview Our service organization keeps our fleet of energy servers generating power for our customers. Field service technicians escalate tough technical issues to the product support operations team for resolution to support our fleet. These escalations provide insight into the drivers of fleet issues and can offer insight into long term fleet improvement. We're looking for an intern to join our team and assist in troubleshooting issues. This role will report to a Senior Manager and is based on-site.

Requirements

  • Currently a student earning a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Must be graduating between spring 2026 and summer 2027

Nice To Haves

  • Highly motivated and a self-starter
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must demonstrate a bias for action and implementation
  • Working knowledge of PC business software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Preferred experience with fuel cells, on-site power, microgrids, CAN communications
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree, and successfully maintaining an above average GPA (preferably 3.0 or higher)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in troubleshooting fleet power generation issues
  • Assist in troubleshooting inverter or communication issues
  • Help identify procedures or training that eliminates repeat issues
