About The Position

Electrical Engineering at Fayetteville PWC: Where Power Meets Purpose Think electrical engineering is just drawings and calculations? Think bigger. Our Electrical Engineering team designs and supports the backbone of Fayetteville PWC’s Distribution and Transmission systems—keeping power flowing safely and reliably across our community. Here’s what we do (and what you’ll help with): Design & Build the Grid: Work alongside experienced engineers on Distribution and Transmission design projects, including involvement with the GRIP Transmission Grant project. From Substation to Meter: Gain hands-on exposure to the full utility engineering lifecycle—from substations all the way to the meter point—while learning how real-world power systems operate. Engineering in Action: As an intern, you’ll support data collection and analysis, assist with work order creation, and help troubleshoot system issues that impact everyday operations. If you’re curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn how engineering directly supports a community’s power needs, this is your opportunity to gain real utility engineering experience with meaningful impact.
