We are seeking a passionate and motivated Electrical Engineering Intern to join our Hardware Engineering team. This role is ideal for students interested in hands-on electrical design, testing, and integration of real-world robotic systems. Interns are treated as full members of the engineering team and work directly on production hardware used in our autonomous mobile robots. This position is onsite at our office in Lawrenceville, PA. We welcome candidates across a wide range of education levels, from undergraduate students to PhD candidates nearing graduation. Many of our interns return year after year. These internship roles provide a dynamic opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking work in robotics, with significant opportunities for learning and growth in a collaborative, innovative environment.

  • Support the design and development of electrical systems for autonomous mobile robots
  • Assist with schematic capture and PCB layouts
  • Bring up, test, and debug embedded hardware
  • Use lab equipment to validate designs and diagnose electrical issues
  • Assist in creating and maintaining electrical documentation, wiring diagrams, and test procedures
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical, firmware, and software engineers during system integration and robot testing
  • College student pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
  • Interest in hardware design, electronics, and robotics systems
  • Completed at least the freshman year of an undergraduate program
  • Familiarity with basic circuit design and electronics fundamentals
  • Exposure to embedded systems or microcontrollers
  • Experience using lab equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply)
  • Interest in power electronics, batteries, or motor-driven systems
  • Work on real-world robotics hardware deployed in customer facilities
  • Gain experience in a fast-growing, innovative automation company
