We're looking for a motivated Electrical Engineering Intern to join our Engineering Design Organization this summer! You'll support engineers and project managers on Power System projects, gaining hands-on experience in engineering studies, cost estimates, and design calculations.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering Bachelor's or Master's degree program.
• Very limited work based experience (0 to 3 months).
• No managerial experience required.

Responsibilities

• Compile data and assist with CADD drawings.
• Develop layouts, schematics, and schedules.
• Conduct comparative engineering and economic evaluations.
• Carry out a range of contract management tasks.
• Provide technical support to inspections of the quality of engineering works and/or the integrity of existing installations or structures.
• Implement improvements and provide feedback on them.
• Carry out a range of product development and engineering activities.
• Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals.
• Implement feasibility testing of proposed engineering solutions under supervision.
• Support the drafting of engineering standards and specifications.
• Help others get the most out of knowledge management systems.
• Develop own capabilities through assessment and development planning activities.
