Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. The Advanced Process Engineering team in Ave Maria, Florida (AMIE) is responsible for designing and building custom semi-automation equipment used in the Final Assembly of electro-mechanical Medical Devices at AMIE. We are searching for an Intern pursuing an Electrical, Computer, or Controls Engineering degree to support the Process Engineering team at AMIE. The successful candidate will design and develop electrical schematics; program and debug controls and vision systems; and develop and document Engineering Studies (Design Experiments and machine Trials) with guidance from the engineering staff. The individual will be detail oriented in the execution and documentation of their work. The individual will be provided with access to a full process automation lab including 3D printers and a prototype machine shop to fully develop and implement their solutions. The individual will also work within the requirements of their tasks to deliver results and communicate issues in a timely and accurate manner. This internship will run from January 2026 – April 2026. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work at least 25 hours per week at our Ave Maria, FL facility.
