AECI’s Thomas Hill Power Plant is seeking dedicated applicants for an Electrical Engineering internship during the summer of 2026.

Requirements

• Current students enrolled in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least two years completed toward a bachelor’s degree.
• Coursework in Circuit Theory is a must.
• Logic Design coursework is a bonus.
• Strong attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Experience with relevant engineering software and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Write bid specifications, evaluate construction bids, and support electrical maintenance and improvement projects.
• Contribute to plant relay upgrades, arc flash compliance, and electronic database development.
• Assist with documentation, programming, and maintenance of controls and PLC systems.
• Support predictive maintenance plans.
