The Orlando, FL office of Dewberry is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2026. This position performs assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks. Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering required.
  • Previous internship experience in electrical engineering is preferred.
  • Exposure to related electrical engineering design.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the design and production of electrical construction documents for commercial and institutional projects.
  • Design building systems (power distribution and lighting) and life safety plans for various infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare electrical engineering calculations, reports, construction drawings and specifications to meet project requirements.
