About The Position

Vistra's Generation Services engineering and subject matter expert teams serve Vistra's power generation fleet of assets by providing engineering and technical expertise. Engineering support ranges from providing recommendations for operations and maintenance practices, developing design specifications, troubleshooting and analysis of electrical equipment failures, development of standardization procedures, and much more. The successful candidate will work with an electrical engineer and other team members to support the generation plants' electrical and control engineering needs.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing and have completed at least one year of study for an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering

Responsibilities

• Support fleet program information gathering and management
• Work with generator, transformer, system protection, renewables, and controls engineers
• Provide troubleshooting support for electrical and control issues
• Develop design and technical specifications
• All other duties as assigned
