Requirements

Currently enrolled in an accredited program entering Junior or Senior year for BSEE or BSEET degree.
Ability to use AutoCAD to update electrical and mechanical drawings.
Ability to use electrical test meters, PC's and/or schematics to troubleshoot electrical equipment/infrastructure.
Proficient with MS Office applications
Must be available for 10 weeks during Summer 2026 (May-August 2026) with a graduation date of December 2026 or later
Be interested in working for Corning, Inc after graduation, if presented with a full-time job opportunity.
Be willing to work at the posted job location

Responsibilities

Ability to assist in troubleshooting infrastructure equipment, systems and processes when required to ensure uninterrupted customer supply.
Works with Quality and Engineering to document repairs/changes made to equipment and/or electrical infrastructure.
Identifies critical spare parts to have on-hand to prevent extended downtime.
Participates in required PPA's and electrical/mechanical shutdowns.
Ability to assist in troubleshooting to the component level.
Work closely with union trades, subcontractors and across all levels and organizations.
Self-starter and motivated to complete the task at hand.
Ability to multi-task.
