Lockheed Martin is looking for Summer Interns! Candidates will assist Electrical/RF Engineering in support of the Engineering & Technology organization. As an Electrical/RF Engineering Intern assigned to the Chelmsford facility, your mission will be to support all facets of the RF Product Life Cycle, including design, integration, verification, and validation activities. We design and build complex electronic systems for use in missile applications and other harsh military environments. You will be supporting both legacy and new product designs ranging from conceptual IRAD to fully developed product currently in production at our Chelmsford site. We offer an excellent working environment with a mix of cutting-edge design, genuine hands-on production and laboratory testing as well as product development. You will get unique exposure to the complete design lifecycle from product design to complete production delivery.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor or Master program pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Eagerness to explore RF Engineering as a potential career.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain secret security clearance; interim required to start.
  • The candidate must be a US citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience and/or coursework in RF or Microwave Engineering, Electromagnetics, or Physics.
  • Experience using electronic equipment in laboratory, academic, or industrial setting.
  • Familiarity with any RF or Microwave design tool.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
