About The Position

As our Electrical Engineering Intern, you will have hands-on learning and exposure to a professional work environment in the field of electromechanics. Candidates should be students who are pursuing a Bachelor's degree, preferably in their sophomore or junior year of studies in Electrical Engineering, who also have an interest in mechanical systems. The position is full-time. Experience with electrical schematic software and labVIEW programming is desirable. Candidates should be approachable, motivated, and have good listening, writing, and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program in Electrical Engineering.
• Basic familiarity with engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing.
• Strong verbal and technical writing skills.
• Experience with electrical schematic software and labVIEW programming is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review and modification of electrical control panel drawings using OrCAD Capture.
• New control panel design and construction.
• Process improvement projects, including updating work procedures and implementing new tooling and equipment.
• Investigation and resolution of issues in the plant, including part rework operations.
• Other engineering tasks and responsibilities as required.
