The Mayo Clinic Special Purpose Processor Development Group (SPPDG) is seeking electrical engineering students interested in a co-op position to gain familiarity with various research and development (R&D) activities. Anticipated timeline of the co-op position is Spring/Summer 2026 and Summer/Fall 2026. SPPDG is a research group within Mayo Clinic, comprised of electronics hardware, software, and firmware engineers supporting a variety of design, analysis, and testing efforts. As part of this R&D team, the candidate would perform fundamental electronics engineering functions by applying technical knowledge and experience to perform basic engineering tasks using state-of-the-art computerized tools. The candidate would work under close supervision, with plans and completed assignments reviewed by Supervisor or senior technical group members.
