About The Position
The Electrical Engineer will work within the PLC environment to support plant operations, focusing on Ethernet-based network infrastructure and troubleshooting various process equipment. Responsibilities include drawing generation, oversight of new construction, and following design, project management, and document control standards. The role involves the specification and design of new control and instrumentation systems, development of project scopes, and maintaining proper communications, schedule, and budget tracking with supervision and management. The engineer will design control schemes, program PLC logic, troubleshoot instrumentation and control system problems, and assist instrument technicians in troubleshooting and setup of equipment. Additionally, the engineer will create and maintain process documentation, control specification documents, and provide technical training and supervision of processes, while also engaging in ongoing process improvement efforts and identifying production issues and bottlenecks.
