Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering in a manufacturing, production or military environment.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations governing electrical design, such as NEC, IEC, and UL requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Design and modify moderately complex electrical equipment for paper processing systems.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of equipment to identify and isolate defects.
  • Utilize CAD tools to create layouts, schematics, assemblies, detailed drawings, and bills of material (BOM).
  • Evaluate and integrate new parts into designs, considering performance and cost.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing and assembly teams throughout the production process.
  • Maintain organized project files to ensure accurate documentation and traceability.
  • Offer on-site technical assistance to field teams as needed, fostering strong customer relationships.
  • Interpret moderately complex electrical schematics and mechanical assembly layouts with precision.
  • Demonstrate excellent logical reasoning and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Apply knowledge of manufacturing methods, electrical design principles, and project management best practices.
