The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing electrical power and communication circuits for robotics and automation systems. This role involves creating schematics, calculating power requirements, and selecting appropriate electronic components within design constraints. The engineer will develop and test physical prototypes to validate design concepts and identify potential issues, utilizing ECAD software to design circuit boards. Troubleshooting and resolving technical problems within electrical systems is a key responsibility, along with ensuring compliance with industry and regional safety standards. The engineer will also develop and implement control systems engineering and feedback systems to regulate electrical devices and processes, working with microcontrollers, integrated circuits, and printed circuit boards to optimize system performance. Researching and integrating the latest commercially available electronic components to drive innovation is also part of the role.
