Teledyne Technologies Incorporated provides enabling technologies for industrial growth markets that require advanced technology and high reliability. These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research. We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins. We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with a strong foundation in RF principles and a passion for systems engineering and software development. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to grow in a multidisciplinary environment focused on Solid State Power Amplifiers (SSPAs) and related RF systems.

  • Support system-level integration and testing of RF and microwave components, primarily SSPAs and multi-function modules.
  • Assist in the development and automation of test systems using software tools such as Python, LabVIEW, or MATLAB.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to analyze system performance and troubleshoot RF chain issues.
  • Contribute to the development of control interfaces and embedded software for RF subsystems.
  • Perform basic RF measurements and data analysis using network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and power meters.
  • Document test procedures, results, and system configurations.
  • Participate in cross-functional engineering teams to support product development and validation.
  • Engineering Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; electrical engineer preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in electronics; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office and Development Software.
  • Basic understanding of RF and microwave principles (e.g., gain, noise figure, impedance matching).
  • Familiarity with RF components such as amplifiers, filters, mixers, and switches.
  • Experience with scripting or programming languages (Python, MATLAB, C/C++).
  • Exposure to RF simulation tools (e.g., ADS, Microwave Office) is a plus but not required.
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment and test automation is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
