Electrical Engineer Key Role: Manage the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of physical infrastructure electrical systems. Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and safety regulations. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision.

  • Manage the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of physical infrastructure electrical systems
  • Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and safety regulations
  • Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts
  • Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions
  • 5+ years of experience with electrical, industrial, or facility reverse engineering and vulnerability assessment or analysis
  • Experience with engineering research, capability or limitation analysis, reverse engineering analysis or characterizations, and vulnerability assessments of facility electrical systems
  • Experience developing electronic components such as operator interface modules and controls architecture
  • Experience with low-level development, including interrupt handlers, device drivers, controlling peripherals, and reading and writing flash memory
  • Experience with digital and analog control systems, power electronics, electromagnetic interference ( EMI ) techniques, and radio frequency ( RF )
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in engineering with MEP construction drawing sets
  • Experience designing and developing innovative hardware and sof tware solutions and systems for DoD using C or C++, and Python programming languages
  • Experience in project management
  • Knowledge of the International Building Code ( IBC ) , Unified Facilities Criteria ( UFC ) , NFPA, ANSI, ASCE, and civil and environmental systems industry standards
  • Knowledge of underground facilities, or hard and deeply buried targets
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred
  • Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field a plus
