About The Position

As an Electrical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and validation of electronic systems for Kägwerks military communication products. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Prior experience in electrical embedded system design including circuit board design
  • Experience with EE design tools such as Altium, Cadence, SPICE, MATLAB, or similar
  • Hands‑on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power analyzers
  • US citizenship or green card is required

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with EMI/EMC considerations, environmental testing, and ruggedized hardware design
  • Familiarity with high speed digital design techniques
  • Background in secure communications, sensor systems or ground vehicle electronics

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and development of ruggedized electronic systems, subsystems, and embedded hardware for military applications.
  • Designing circuit boards, including schematic design and layout
  • Select components, evaluate alternatives, and ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and environmental requirements
  • Participate in prototype bring‑up, debugging, and verification testing.
  • Assist in preparing and executing environmental, EMI/EMC, and qualification testing to relevant military standards
  • Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, systems engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful system integration
  • Support root‑cause investigations and corrective actions for electrical issues
  • Occasional travel for testing, field evaluations, or supplier visits
