  • Under the general direction of the supervisor of the Transaction Analysis (TA) Unit, the incumbent will assist in engineering analysis, electrical operations reporting, and financial analysis.
  • This includes the development and maintenance of the energy accounting system, cost allocation system, and other custom systems models.
  • Must be available to work outside normal business hours, including overnight travel.
  • Travel throughout the state of California will be required.
  • Employee is required to successfully complete all safety training related to the functions of the job.

  • It is desirable that the incumbent have experience or knowledge of California Independent System Operator (CAISO) related billing and settlement data, analyzing CAISO energy market regulatory changes, familiarity with the State Water Project (SWP) operations, proficiency in coding and scripting for data analysis and automation, strong ability to troubleshoot software and manage datasets, and experience with data management tools and best practices.
