About The Position

As a senior member of our electrical design group, you will work closely with clients, mentor engineering staff, and take ownership of high‑impact electrical design initiatives from concept through construction. In this role, you will blend deep technical expertise with hands‑on project leadership to drive best‑in‑class electrical system design:

Requirements

  • 5+ years of directly related electrical design experience , including power distribution, system modeling, and construction documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License required.
  • Strong electrical design fundamentals and proven understanding of NEC, IBC, IECC, and life safety standards.
  • Revit proficiency required
  • Ability to multitask and excel in dynamic project environments , solving problems at both strategic and hands‑on levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • A commitment to teamwork, innovation, integrity, and quality‑driven engineering outcomes.

Nice To Haves

  • experience with AutoCAD or electrical analysis software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple projects across bidding, design, permitting, and construction while guiding project teams and serving as the primary technical point of contact.
  • Coordinate electrical design solutions that meet customer needs, cost considerations, scheduling, and code compliance.
  • Perform value‑engineering and efficiency reviews to optimize existing designs and propose innovative alternatives.
  • Develop detailed electrical drawings and 3D models using Revit and other design tools, applying both theoretical and practical design knowledge.
  • Ensure strict compliance with NEC, IBC, IECC, and life safety codes across all deliverables.
  • Collaborate regularly with clients, consultants, authorities, and internal teams to maintain alignment and deliver high‑quality electrical documentation.
  • Mentor junior engineers and designers , supporting growth, quality standards, and continuous improvement across the team.
