Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 3+ Years experience in an Electrical Engineer position
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in industrial electrical systems
  • Ability to read, interpret, and develop electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Hands-on experience performing electrical testing and supporting field or production environments
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with diesel and/or natural gas generator systems
  • Hands-on experience with Basler and ComAp generator controllers
  • Manufacturing or industrial environment experience
  • Experience supporting commissioning, R&D, or new product development

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical systems on large industrial equipment
  • Support systems utilizing diesel and/or natural gas generators (experience strongly preferred)
  • Perform electrical testing including voltage, current, insulation resistance, continuity, and related diagnostics
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and support corrective actions to improve reliability and performance
  • Read, interpret, and create electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Work with control panels, sensors, relays, breakers, and power distribution systems
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to electrical design, safety, and reliability
  • Support and troubleshoot generator controllers, with specific experience on Basler and ComAp platforms
  • Assist with commissioning, testing, and startup of electrical and power generation systems
  • Provide field support during installation, troubleshooting, and system validation
  • Contribute to research and development activities for next-generation products
  • Collaborate with sales, quality, and production teams to support production goals and future product launches
  • Communicate technical specifications, drawings, and requirements clearly to production teams
  • Provide technical support and hands-on training to production staff as needed
  • Follow all safety standards and promote safe work practices in all engineering and production activities
  • Take ownership of projects from concept through execution
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, operations, manufacturing, service, and quality teams
