This position provides an opportunity to further advance cutting-edge technologies that support some of our nation’s core defense/intelligence services and systems. GDMS employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions. The Electrical Engineer will be part of an innovative team that loves to evaluate RF systems, such as RADARs, jammers, or communications systems, including their software and signals, for capabilities, performance, and vulnerabilities. Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
  • Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.
  • Understanding of RF physical layer implementations
  • Advanced understanding of networking concepts
  • Experience with RF test equipment, such as RF signal generators and spectrum analyzers
  • Proficiency in communication protocol implementation and analysis in one or more of C, C++, Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, Wireshark
  • Experience with Digital Signal Processing
  • Ability to contribute to rapid prototyping of proof-of-concept capabilities
  • Strong ability to manage tasks and projects independently with urgency
  • Department of Defense Top Secret is required at time of hire.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required
