About The Position

We are seeking resumes for an Electrical Project Engineer at our Tomahawk, WI facility. The role involves providing engineering services to maintenance and operating department personnel to resolve maintenance, technical, and equipment reliability issues. The engineer will establish and maintain safe work practices and a safe work environment for coworkers and employees, ensuring that mill rules are enforced and company policies are followed. The position requires supervising mill and contract employees as necessary and ensuring that equipment files and databases are maintained properly. The engineer must understand equipment operation and function to determine preventive and predictive maintenance needs, develop maintenance procedures, and work with peers to maintain equipment to achieve uptime goals. Responsibilities also include preparing scope and cost estimates for assigned projects, developing engineering, procurement, and construction strategies, designing and implementing approved projects, monitoring and controlling project scope, schedule, and cost, managing project construction, coordinating project commissioning and start-up, and communicating project status to operations and maintenance. Additionally, the engineer will provide technical assistance to operations and maintenance to identify and solve routine problems, along with other duties assigned by the Engineering Manager.

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail and follow-up skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in setting priorities and delegating.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to facilitate in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
