The Electrical Engineer will work on state-of-the-art technologies like RF transmitters, RF receivers, GPS, RF amplifiers, and digital circuits applicable to UAV and land-based sensors. The role involves applying techniques of RF test and characterization of components and circuits, supporting engineers in design investigations, product replication, and the development process. Responsibilities include performing basic research, testing/debugging, performance validation, quality control, and deployment. The engineer will also support test fixture development using the latest electronic and mechanical CAD software, 3D printing, and PCB fabrication, while immersing in aspects of manufacturing processes and test methods. The position requires performing fundamental investigations, evaluations, applications, and design implementations of new and diverse technologies across multiple applications.

  • Work on RF transmitters, RF receivers, GPS, RF amplifiers, and digital circuits.
  • Apply RF test and characterization techniques.
  • Support engineers in design investigations and product development.
  • Perform basic research, testing/debugging, and quality control.
  • Support test fixture development using CAD software and 3D printing.
  • Conduct investigations and evaluations of new technologies.
  • Knowledge or experience with analog or digital RF circuits.
  • Experience with RF test equipment like network and spectrum analyzers.
  • Experience in soldering small and large components.
  • Ability to design, fabricate, and perform PCB assembly.
  • Responsible for Test, Verification and Validation (V&V) of fabricated threat replicas.
  • Able to maintain inventory control of components.
  • Collaborate with engineers to rectify design discrepancies.
  • Able to troubleshoot circuits and perform repairs.
  • Perform all functional duties independently.
  • Must have a Secret clearance and be able to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
  • Knowledge of various modulation formats in communication.
  • Experience with Altium Designer.
  • IPC soldering certification.
  • Experience with design and integration of electronics on UAS.
  • Experience designing with Chip set architectures and SoC.
