About The Position

In this position, you will play a critical role in ensuring the precision, compliance, and reliability of advanced vehicle calibration systems. You’ll develop detailed specifications, interface with vehicle ECUs, and collaborate with global teams to maintain industry-leading standards. 🔹 Work Location: Princeton, IN (Onsite required) 🔹 Travel: Up to 20% across North America, with occasional trips to Japan 🔹 Driving Requirement: Must maintain a motor vehicle record acceptable by company standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (or Engineering with Electrical and Computer emphasis)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Catia / XVL / Inventor
  • Expertise in vehicle calibration standards and ECU communications
  • Ability to develop specifications that meet precise tolerances
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Ability to travel up to 20% as required
  • Valid driver’s license with a driving record meeting company standards

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to read Japanese
  • Electrical systems or systems engineering experience
  • Microcomputer and/or embedded systems expertise

Responsibilities

  • Developing detailed specifications to meet technical tolerances for vehicle calibration (headlamp aim, radar cruise control, etc.)
  • Interfacing computer hardware/software with vehicle ECUs via both wired and wireless methods
  • Interpreting technical standards related to vehicle calibration and communications
  • Utilizing AutoCAD, Catia, XVL, and Inventor to design and refine engineering solutions
  • Preparing reports, documentation, and presentations using MS Office
  • Collaborating with engineering teams across North America and Japan to align technical objectives
