We have a position open for an experienced Sr Electrical Engineer to perform system design and technical support tasks focusing on electrical power systems and electrical control systems. This is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge and experience in the field by working on projects of varied complexities and providing guidance and work direction to less experienced electrical engineers. What will you be doing?

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or another technical field with equivalent electrical engineering experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical system design required. Experience in wire harness production or panel shop production preferred
  • Leadership experience highly desired
  • Knowledge of electronic control systems
  • Technical decision making skills
  • Proficient at analyzing data
  • Proficient at CAD software such as SolidWorks or Zuken
  • Good presentation skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol test.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in wire harness production or panel shop production preferred
  • Leadership experience highly desired

Responsibilities

  • Providing work direction and guidance to Electrical Engineers
  • Designing and developing wire harness drawings using CAD software.
  • Creating detailed electrical enclosure layouts and wiring diagrams for stationary and mobile applications.
  • Selecting and specifying electrical components such as connectors, terminals, relays, circuit protection devices, and wire types and sizes.
  • Creating and maintaining schematics, bills of material, and other technical documentation.
  • Collaborating with other engineers and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and integration.
  • Providing technical support to operations, sales teams, and customers, including troubleshooting, prototyping and testing of electrical systems.
  • Participate in processes and programs aimed at continuous improvement and safety.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
