About The Position
WSP is currently initiating a search for an Electrical Engineer- Renewable Energy for our office in Buffalo, NY. The following office locations will also be considered: Houston, TX, Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, Boston, MA, San Diego, CA, Richmond, VA, Las Vegas, NV, New York, NY, and Boulder, CO. The candidate will be involved in projects with our Energy Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. Provides design and technical guidance for solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects from concept through permitting to construction phase for distributed generation and utility-scale projects. Liaise and coordinate with related parties during projects including client representatives, manufacturers/suppliers, utility engineers, and other engineering disciplines. Supports senior staff with project management and provides technical direction to engineering team members.
