About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer / Project Manager to join our established Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering firm in Bethel Park, PA. This full-time position offers a competitive starting salary of $100,000 per year, with potential for higher compensation based on experience and technical expertise. The role requires 7+ years of electrical engineering experience in building systems design and is ideal for licensed Professional Engineers with consulting experience in commercial and institutional projects. The successful candidate will lead electrical design efforts, manage client relationships, and oversee project delivery for projects located in Bethel Park and surrounding areas. Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in an MEP or architectural engineering consulting environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with hands-on drafting experience.
  • Experience designing electrical systems for sectors such as higher education, municipal, recreation, medical office, retail, hospitality, or light manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of NEC and commercial building codes.

Responsibilities

  • Design power distribution, lighting, and electrical systems for commercial and institutional buildings in Bethel Park.
  • Lead electrical engineering projects from initial concept through construction administration.
  • Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit (hands-on drafting required).
  • Coordinate with architects, mechanical and plumbing engineers, and building owners to ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC and local building codes applicable in Bethel Park, PA.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and client communications.
  • Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide construction phase support.
  • Mentor junior engineers and maintain technical quality standards.
