About The Position

At Raytheon, the foundation of everything we do is rooted in our values and a higher calling – to help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. We bring the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today’s mission and stay ahead of tomorrow’s threat. Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. The Raytheon Electronic Warfare - Electrical and Electronics Engineering department in Goleta, California has an immediate opening for an Electrical Engineer with experience with Power & Analog Design. What You Will Do Design cutting-edge power supply solutions for our industry-leading Electronic Warfare (EW) and Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) systems that protect and empower our defense forces. Create and analyze advanced analog and power conversion circuits, implement high-performance design solutions, simulate, and rigorously test hardware in a state-of-the-art laboratory setting to ensure reliability in the most demanding environments. Drive projects to completion, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of experts, and occasionally lead them toward shared success. Occasionally travel, giving you opportunities to connect with broader teams and stakeholders. What You Will Learn Gain hands-on experience with the latest advancements in DC/DC and multiphase AC/DC power conversion, switching power supply topologies, control loop design, and stability analysis. Learn to apply cutting-edge tools like SPICE, SIMPLIS, ADS, and HyperLynx PI to solve real-world design and analysis challenges. Deepen your understanding of the defense industry, contributing to technologies that redefine the boundaries of what's possible in aerospace and defense.
