As an Electrical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work as a Technical Expert or Project Lead performing all aspects of conventional design engineering and analysis. Support projects encompassing a variety of areas such as Hydrocarbon Processing (HPI), hydrogen, ammonia & fertilizer, FLNG, LNG and new energy. Explore various technologies within the process space to expand your skillset and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program.
  • Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
  • U.S. Professional Engineer License.
  • Experience with ETAP or SKM Electrical system analysis modeling software.
  • Experience with industrial power distribution system designs including MV and LV switchgear, MCC's, VFD's, power distribution transformers, batteries and UPS.

Nice To Haves

  • Oil & Gas project experience, contributing as a design engineer.
  • Project Lead experience and SME in various Oil & Gas Projects such as LNG, FLNG, hydrogen, ammonia & fertilizers.
  • Working knowledge of the NEC (NFPA 70 National Electrical Code).
  • Experience with Hazardous Area Classifications as defined by the NEC and API.

Responsibilities

  • Develop electrical drawing deliverables including one line and three line diagrams, electrical motor schematics, breaker control schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Perform complex engineering calculations such as load flow, short circuit, motor starting (ETAP or SKM), Arc flash analysis (ETAP or SKM), protective relay settings.
  • Develop electrical equipment specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM) for procurement and construction.
  • Create man hour budgets and schedule for projects and proposals.
  • Attend on-site meetings, investigate existing conditions, interface with clients and provide support during construction.
  • Prepare a variety of complex engineering deliverables for larger or multiple projects.
  • Manage assigned budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
  • Actively coordinate with all other internal/external team members on moderately complex projects.
  • Provide support to business development or pursuit activities and may offer other services to clients.
