JOB SUMMARY As a Electrical Engineer, Manufacturing Systems & Controls in Fargo, ND , you will: Develop electrical schematics, panel layouts, and documentation for industrial and manufacturing systems Support, troubleshoot, and improve control systems on the production floor Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and aligned with production needs Interpret and apply relay logic, control system requirements, and high‑amperage electrical design principles Contribute to continuous improvement of electrical designs, processes, and standards Assist with wire harness design, routing, and integration as needed Move fluidly between engineering design work and hands‑on floor support in a fast‑paced environment Travel frequently to customer locations to support project execution Work collaboratively with suppliers and Applied partners Contribute to projects that impact communities in West Fargo, Horace, Harwood, Moorhead, and Dilworth, and the greater Fargo-Moorhead metro Apply your skills in a dynamic environment that values ownership and innovation QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical Experience with control systems, relay logic, or high‑amperage electrical systems Ability to create, read, and interpret electrical schematics Strong problem‑solving skills with comfort working through ambiguity Self‑starter who can work independently and collaboratively Ability to operate effectively in a manufacturing or industrial environment Experience creating electrical schematics in a production or manufacturing setting Familiarity with EPLAN a plus Experience with wire harness design, routing, and implementation Background supporting industrial equipment, manufacturing systems, or electro‑mechanical assemblies SKILLS AND VALUES Capable of working independently and as a team member Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity Excellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindset Curiosity, problem solving, and analytical thinking Effective verbal and written communication Desire to work on a variety of projects ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Please consider joining Applied's team of talented employees in Fargo, ND.
