Summary of Duties Design, develop, and test mixed-signal circuits for a wide variety of different applications. Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to develop circuits that meet critical performance metrics and accomplish broader engineering objectives Assist with board layout of modern PCB architectures, including routing of impedance-critical lines and thermal management of high-power components Perform board-level testing of mixed-signal PCBs and other RF electronics using modern laboratory equipment (e.g. multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.) Capture and analyze critical performance data and present conclusions and recommendations to senior engineering leadership Work directly with suppliers & vendors to facilitate purchasing and parts selection Works under the guidance of a lead electrical engineer while contributing technical expertise to project execution and problem solving. Demonstrates leadership ability, as well as superior work ethic. A high degree of creativity is required. Level of Interaction: Interacts with the project’s technical lead, group leaders, senior engineers, machinists, electronic/mechanical technicians, suppliers/vendors, and administrative assistants.
