Requirements

  • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of AC/DC electrical theory and circuit analysis. Basic troubleshooting of automation equipment for Underfill, Conformal Coat, and Contact Soldering.
  • Equipment Mastery: Expert use of oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, function generators, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and diagnostic software results. Formal experience with root cause analysis
  • Competency using Microsoft Office, experience with SQL Server and managing networks. Experience with SAP / ERP
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with engineering, precision inspection personnel, and shop floor employees
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 3 years prior relevant experience
  • Must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Candidate will support Test Technicians on 2nd and 3rd shift (8pm – 4am)
  • Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development: Supervise, mentor, and train electrical technicians to ensure high-performance, quality standards, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Testing & Execution: Setting up test environments and performing functional tests on assemblies like circuit boards, sensors, and communication systems.
  • Troubleshooting & Analysis: Analyze test results, identify functional problems, and provide technical solutions or improvements for systems, components, or assemblies.
  • Operational Compliance: Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and ensure laboratory compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate technician schedules, resource allocation, and project deadlines, acting as the primary point of contact for technical, schedule, or quality issues.
  • Documentation: Generate and review formal test reports, written work instructions, recording precise test data, identifying product deficiencies, maintain accurate ECO and records of findings.
