About The Position

Manage the planning, design, construction and maintenance of physical infrastructure electrical systems. Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and safety regulations. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision.

Requirements

  • 11+ years of experience with electrical, industrial or facility reverse engineering and vulnerability assessment or analysis
  • Experience with engineering research, capability or limitation analysis, reverse engineering analysis or characterizations, and vulnerability assessments of facility electrical systems
  • Experience with developing operator interface modules, controls architecture, and electronic components
  • Experience with low-level development, including interrupt handlers, device drivers, controlling peripherals, and reading and writing Flash memory
  • Experience with digital and analog control systems, power electronics, electromagnetic interference (EMI) techniques, and radio frequency (RF)
  • Experience in project management
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in engineering with MEP construction drawing sets
  • Experience with developing innovative hardware and software solutions and systems for DoD using C or C++ and Python programming languages
  • Knowledge of the International Building Code (IBC), Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), NFPA, ANSI, ASCE, and civil and environmental systems industry standards
  • Knowledge of underground facilities or hard and deeply buried targets
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineeringâ or related field preferred; Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineeringâ or related field a plus
  • Professional Engineering Certification
