As an entry-level Electrical Engineer at Kiewit Power Engineering, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to supporting all aspects of the construction process. Your role will involve innovative design engineering, where you will brainstorm conceptual designs, perform and review electrical calculations, and develop plans that align with client needs. This includes everything from owner's engineering to detailed design and construction management, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. In this role, you will check manufacturer's wiring drawings, one-line diagrams, and schematics, ensuring compliance with engineering standards. You will also prepare basic engineering calculations and drawings, draft equipment specifications, and coordinate contracts with equipment vendors. Your ability to work collaboratively with other engineers, designers, project managers, and construction personnel will be crucial in achieving project goals and maintaining Kiewit's legacy of excellence in the industry.
