Interns will work full-time hours during the summer.

  • Supporting the Electrical Engineering team with low-level software development, manufacturing electrical testing, and other engineering tasks
  • Performing virtual optical analysis of lamps and regulatory test points, as well as physical verification of cameras and lights
  • Leading focused projects such as analyzing haptic feedback curves across Multifunction Handles (MFHs) and joystick product families
  • Gathering and synthesizing field trial feedback on touch encoders and shifter handles to support refinement and validation
  • Reviewing application requirements, defining motors or actuators, integrating them into machines, and conducting performance testing
  • Contributing to lab improvement projects, including building repeatable test benches, expanding measurement systems, and increasing data logging capabilities
  • Fabricating, testing, calibrating, and troubleshooting electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical components, subsystems, and systems
  • Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Agriculture Engineering
  • Experience with C++, Linux embedded systems, PCB design, EMC, and Board Support Packages is helpful
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
